Estonian Film “December Heat” (“Detsembrikuumus”) Showing In Maryland

World Artists Experiences and the International Division of Maryland’s Office of the Secretary of State, in conjunction with Frostburg University, Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, Southern Maryland Center for Higher Education, Salisbury University, and Towson University, invite the public to attend free screenings of five international films, one each from Argentina, Estonia, Korea, Nigeria, and Russia. The Bridges to the World International Film Series is a statewide, month-long initiative in recognition of the State’s global reach and a reflection of those connections here in Maryland.
The series will run for five weeks from February 8 through March 12 at five venues throughout the state. Each film will be introduced, screened, and followed by a discussion.  Presentations begin at 7:00 p.m.  All films will be shown with English subtitles.  
The schedule for the Estonian film “December Heat” (“Detsembrikuumus”) is as it follows:

Salisbury University, Caruthers Hall Auditorium, 1101 Camden Ave., Salisbury, MD 21801  on Monday, March 1, 2010.         
Please note that a well-known Estonian group Bonzo and Tõun will perform before and after the screening of the film.
Frostburg University, Tawes Building, Room 153, 101 Braddock Road, Frostburg, MD  21532 on Tuesday, March 2, 2010.

Southern Maryland Higher Education Center, Center Hall 44219 Airport Road, California, MD  20619 on Wednesday, March 3, 2010.              

Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, 801 Chase St., Annapolis  21401 on Thursday, March 4 , 2010.

Towson University, Van Bokkelen Hall Auditorium, 8000 York Road, Towson, MD  21252 on Fiday, March 5, 2010.
Tickets are not required for these free screenings; however seating is on a first-come basis.
