Ühe eestlase tähelend

Colorados ilmuva ajalehe  “The Denver Post”  23. oktoobri number tõi pikema artikli koos fotoga noore eesti tshellisti Silver Ainomäe kohta, keda valiti 40 kandidaadi hulgast Colorado Sümfooniaorkestri tshellogrupi kontsertmeistriks (principal cellist).  
27-aastane noormees pärineb Tallinnast, muusikute perekonnast, kus ema on viiuldaja ja isa mängib metsasarve. Nii tutvus poeg juba varakult muusikaga. Kui ema sai 1990. aastal koha Soomes, alustas poeg tshelloõpinguid Sibeliuse Akadeemias, mille ta lõpetas magistrikraadiga aastal 2006. Järgnesid õpingud Londonis, ringreisid üle maailma Gustav Mahler Orchestra of Young Performers koosseisus (ansambel mida alustas tuntud dirigent Claudio Abbado)  ning kontserteerimine Eestis nii kammermuusiku kui iseseisva solistina.  

Siis tuli aga soov leida püsivam töökoht. Uurides Interneti lehekülgi, leidis Silver kolm pakkumist USA-st. Nendest sobis eriliselt koht Colorados. Ja nii oli, et koos ühe sõbraga lennati Los Angelesi ja sealt sõideti autoga edasi Denveri.
Proovieksamiks valis S. Ainomäe osalemise ühes Mozarti kvartetis ja esitas teiseks koos orkestri muusikadirektori Jeffrey Kahanega Beethoveni tshellosonaadi. Edu oli selline, et Ainomäe palgati samas. Kontsertpublik on teda käesoleva, 2009-10, hooaja alguses juba orkestri ridades kuulnud, kuid novembri algpäevil debüteeris Ainomäe Denveris ka iseseisva kontserdiga.  
Esialgu ootab noort muusikut kaheaastane prooviaeg;  alles siis määratakse ta püsivalt uuele kohale. Ainomäe juhul on need kaks aastat küll vaid formaliteet.
