Palju õnne sünnipäevaks, Euroopa Liit!

Euroopa päev on iga-aastane vahva kogupereüritus, millega tähistatakse Euroopa Liidu sünnipäeva. Sel aastal pidas  Eesti Euroopa päeva 1. mail. Eesti on olnud NATO ja Euroopa Liidu liige 10 aastat!

 

9. mail 1950 kutsus Prantsusmaa välisminister Robert Schuman Prantsusmaad, Saksamaad ja teisi Euroopa riike üles koondama oma söe-ja terasetootmine.

 

See oli esimene samm Euroopa Liidu loomise suunas. Tänaseks ühendab see juba 28 riiki, kus austatakse vabadust ja õigusriigi põhimõtet ning hinnatakse ELi kodanike mitmekesisust. Schumani deklaratsiooni aastapäeva tähistatakse Euroopa päevana.

 

22.-25. mail 2014 leiavad aset Euroopa Parlamendi valimised. Sellega seoses kutsus Saksamaa laste internetilehekülg www.hanisauland.de lapsi kõigist EL-i liikmesriikidest üles üheskoos Euroopa kaarti joonistama.

 

Iga laps joonistas pildi sellest, mis talle oma riigis või linnas kõige rohkem meeldib või mida ta iseloomulikuks peab. Laste Euroopa kaart kujutab endast mosaiiki, mis paljudest üksikutest piltidest kokku pandi ja Euroopa värvika mitmekesisuse nähtavale toob.

 

HanisauLand’i toimetus kogus pidid kokku ja koostas erinevatest piltidest suure Euroopa kaardi. 5. mail 2014 avaldati kaardi ingliskeelne versioon internetis veebilehel www.hipharpigland.de.

 

Meie lehes saate näha, milliseid joonistusi saatsid võistlusele eesti lapsed.

 

10-aastane Sandra joonistas pildi õunapuudest (1 pilt all) ja 12-aastase Kohtla-Järve tüdruku Diana pildil (2 pilt) on Tallinna vanalinn. 10-aastane Martin joonistas Tuhala nõiakaevu (3 pilt) ja 10-aastane Deilys Järvamaalt joonistas suvise Eesti ranna (4 pilt).
