New Yorgi Eesti Naiskoori kevadkontsert

NY Eesti Naiskoori kevadkontsert toimus 9. aprillil NY Eesti Majas Maestro Andrejs Jansons’i  juhatusel.Kaastegevad: Dipl. Pianist  Triin Laul, Tallinna Muusikaakadeemia; Indra Ozola, Riia Muusikaakadeemia; Mall Kiil, klaveril. Koori solist metsosopran Tiia McGovern, koori saatel. 

Vaatamata meie tänapäeva argielu vaenavaile kriisidele, leidis teeneline (USA ainus), Eesti Naiskoor New Yorgis, pühendunult ja teadlikult võimaluse kauniks pärastlõuna kontserdiks.  Esimesena torkas silma hea kava valik. Kõik esimese Eesti Vabariigi loomingulisest paremikust. Tulemata jäänutele oli tõeliseks kaotuseks ilma jääda Eduard Oja, Alo Ritsingu, Riho Pätsi, Mart Saare ja Enn Võrgu rahvalaulude seadete paremikust. Kõik õnnestus kenasti, välja arvatud paar  “iludusviga”:  koori osade tasakaal oli sopranite kasuks, kusjuures aldid jäid tagasihoidlikuks.

Külalissolist  Indra Ozola suurepärase hääle ja musikaalsuse tõttu teenitud müriseva aplausi kõrval juhtus järgmine lapsus linguae.  Sopran laulis Willem Reimani laulus  “Lauliku lapsepõli”  järgmist:  “Pani kao (pro käo) kiigutama, alleaa – allea…  Seal siis kagu (pro kägu) palju kukkus, alleaa – alleaa…”  Sopran on tuntud flötistina kammermuusikas nii Lätis kui USAs.

Klaverisolist Triin Laul (Naiskoori debüüt) tõestas nii Beethoveni Sonata esimese ja teise osaga kui  ka Urmas Sisaski Veevalajaga – Unistus, Lüüra – Õnn, et nii tehniliselt kui ka tõlgitsuslikult oleme juurde saanud uue kontsertpianisti, kes omab nii klassikalist tehnikat kui ka tänapäeva muusika mõttemaailma. Tal oli teenitult suur  edu.

Läti dirigent, oboe spetsialist, koorijuht Andrejs Jansons  on aastate jooksul Eesti sõbraks saanud.  Oleme talle suurt tänu võlgu koori väljaaitamise eest. Kuulsime, et tal on kohe sõit ees Riiga – juhatama Bruno Sgulte ooperit “The Heiress of Vilnaci”.

Tänu kiitustega ja lilli tõid Urmas Kärner,  New Yorgi Eesti Meeskoori esimees; Virve Vaher ümbrikuga ja Juta Kurman Eesti Helikunsti  Keskuse Ameerikas nimel.

Kavale järgnes sõprus- suhete süvendamine maitsvate suupistetega kohvilauas.
