Last weekend around 3,500 men gathered in Rakvere to dance at the third ever Estonian Men Dance Festival.
The festival is inspired by the Estonian Dance Celebration that dates back to 1934, it takes place every five years in Tallinn and is part of UNESCO’s list of intangible cultural heritage.
A men-only event is the idea of the renowned Estonian choreographer and dance teacher Maie Orav, and first took place in 2006.
