Producers and Choreographers, Diina Tamm and Amanda Carlson, are thrilled to be returning for the second year to present their work at Anita’s Way. Joined by choreographers Jamie Jackson and Vive Khamsingsavath, this show creates a true fusion of movement, featuring an international cast of dancers. A truly captivating performance art installation that will surely bring a different pace to your busy day in the city.

“Rush Through” focuses on the relationship between chaos and stillness. They cannot exist without each other. Similar to waves or ideas in our minds, it is a constant push and pull, happening repeatedly. This is present when walking through NYC. If we pay attention, there are different paced moments all around us. These moments thrive at Anita’s Way, a sanctuary in the middle of the business of Times Square. Take a minute to look right or left, listen to the noise, watch the flux of movement in this city, enjoy the dances that surround us, and find the stillness within.

Diina Tamm is a New York-based professional dancer, choreographer, and dance instructor. Originally from Tallinn, Estonia, she has been part of various dance shows in the USA, Estonia, Canada, Sweden and Finland. She has danced on different cruise ships, TV shows, and music videos by artists such as Icona Pop and Misterwives, performed on Good Morning America, and worked as a dancer and choreographer’s assistant for a live broadcast on ABC.

Her recent credits include choreographing for New York Fashion Week, directing and choreographing various shows presented in New York City (“Reflection Spectrum”; “Kahn Islander”, Studio-842 fashion show and an immersive performance “Tonality of Culture” at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC.

“As a choreographer, it’s amazing to believe in something that doesn’t exist yet and create that story in a beautiful language of dance”.
