At a formal ceremony also attended by Estonian Ambassador to the US Jonatan Vseviov and Consul General Kairi Künka, Secretary General of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rainer Saks opened the Estonian Honorary Consulate in San Diego on January 24.
The Estonian Honorary Consul in San Diego is Michael Chan, a US businessman who served as Estonian Honorary Consul in Phoenix, Arizona from 2011-2018, and will continue to serve as honorary consul in San Diego, serving the Southern California region and Nevada’s Clark County, according to a Ministry of Foreign Affairs press release.
