Tallinn muutus kinomekaks

Praegu rahulikult jõule ootav pealinn oli eelmistel nädalatel tõeline filmimeka, kuna toimumas oli 13. Pimedate Ööde Filmi-festival (PÖFF), mis oma nelja filmiprogrammiga pakkus kõigile midagi väärtuslikku.

Ligi kuu aja jooksul said oma osa nii lühifilmide, animatsioonide kui lastefilmide austajad ning nädalased alaprogrammid andsid peakorraldaja Tiina Loki sõnul sellel aastal  eriti palju, sest filmiprogrammid olid selgemalt piiritletud ja nii oli filmihuvilistel lihtsam leida, mida otsiti.



Esinduslik põhikava

Neljast  programmist staazhikam oli põhiprogramm, kuhu sisse mahtusid seekord rahvusvaheline võistlusprogramm EurAsia ja Tridensi Baltikumi täispikkade filmide võistlusprogramm, ülevaade maailmakinost, auhinnatud filme teistelt festivalidelt, ulatuslik dokumentaalfilmide programm, filmitegija, -stuudio või -žanri retrospektiiv ning fookus ühe või mitme riigi filmitoodangule. Põhirõhk oli ka  seekord traditsiooniliselt Euroopa filmidel.

Noorte seas populaarseimal tudengi- ja lühifilmide alafestivalil Sleepwalkers sai rahvusvahelises võistlusprogrammis ülevaate filmi- ja meediatudengite tehtud lühifilmidest, mille seast võis leida nii mängu-, dokumentaal- kui animafilme. Lisaks kuulus sinna ka võistlusprogramm Eesti lühifilmidele ja arvukalt  eriprogramme.

Animafilmide festival Animated Dreams sisaldas võistlusprogrammi viimase paari aasta lühifilmidest, filmitegija retrospektiive ja eriprogramme. Linastus nii täispikki animeeritud narratiive kui ka visuaalselt keerukaid nukufilme.

Midagi ka väikestele kinohuvilistele

Väärtfilme said nautida ka lapsed, sest seitse päeva hõlmas filmirallist festival Just Film, mis keskendus laste- ja noortefilmidele.

Lisaks neljale põhiprogrammile lisandus festivalile paar aastat tagasi ka mobiilikaameratele vatti andev Nokia mobiilifilmide festival MOFF, kuhu olid oodatud kõigi soovijate mobiilifilmid, mida meie e-ühiskonnas ka rõõmuga saadeti.
