Permanent Mission of Estonia to the UN is glad to have the very first Youth Delegation to attend the sixth ECO-SOC Youth Forum this year at the UNHQ in New York.
Estonia strongly supports youth participation in the work of the UN as it leads to more inclusive and effective policy.
This year the forum focuses on the role of youth in poverty eradication and promoting prosperity in a changing world.
Estonian delegation has representatives from the Estonian Union for Child Welfare, Estonian National Youth Council and Estonian National Commission for UNESCO.
They all represent different organisations and thus they help to brings different perspectives and ideas to the discussions and dialogues held during the forum.
