Funderbeam is one of five finalists in the New Economy category, selected among 100s of companies from all over the world.
Today, the Funderbeam team is happy to announce that we have been nominated as a finalist to receive an Interactive Innovation Award at this year’s SXSW.
Below is an excerpt from SXSW.com’s blog:
After reviewing hundreds of applications, our advisory board of SXSW Interactive Innovation Awards jurists selected the following 65 finalists. In each of the 13 categories, we’ve named the top 5 entries launched in 2016 — the connected world’s best and most forward-thinking — in fields ranging from biotech to digital security to smart cities and beyond.
Funderbeam’s CEO, Kaidi Ruusalepp, and CMO, Mads Emil Dalsgaard, will be representing Funderbeam in Austin, Texas during the event in March. If you will be attending SXSW as well, and would like to meet, please reach out to us directly via email and we’ll schedule some time.
Funderbeam is one of two Estonian companies selected to the finals, the other being Starship Technologies, nominated in the Smart Cities category.
SXSW (South By Southwest) is a nine-day festival founded in 1987, focusing not just on innovation and technology, but also film and music.
