Dear people awaiting the festivities! As of November 16th, there are only 100 days left until our great common birthday. What do you wish a century-old state and what do you give its people as a gift? We can think about our state and pat it on the shoulder for enduring, arrange communal work days in our hometowns, throw the party of the century, or create something that will be enjoyable for our children and grandchildren down the road.
Right now is the time to turn your thoughts into reality. The Estonia 100 committee will provide advice and help to turn ideas into reality, and the EV100 website ev100.ee will bring together all the beautiful and great things that are being prepared around the world for this great celebration. From Vastseliina to Washington – let’s organize a fantastic and memorable party together!
On 16 November, several hundred folk dancers in Tallinn’s Vabaduse Väljak (Freedom Square) will help us celebrate one hundred days until the festivities begin. On 31 December, we will celebrate the kick-off of our nation’s anniversary and we are already awaiting a colorful and eventful birthday week in February. These are but a few of the opportunities to celebrate Estonia 100. There are hundreds of gifts and events on the Estonia 100 website to enjoy and take part in during the centenary and new ones are constantly being added. Come check it out!
