The grant from the Foundation of Estonian Arts and Letters (FEAL) supports the creative work of a young artist who is of Estonian heritage and a resident of the USA.
In 2023, the FEAL will award one grant of $1,000.
The application deadline is June 1, 2023.
Requirements for applicants:
- Be 18-35 years of age
- Be of Estonian heritage
- Be a professional or emerging artist in one of the following fields:
- Music
- Performing arts
- Folk art & culture
- Literature
- Visual and applied arts
- Be active in the local Estonian community or reference Estonia through your creative work (recommended)
- Be living in the USA for at least 3 years
- Have not received the grant in the last 3 years
