Trio soolokontsert NY Eesti Majas

Soolokontsert NY Eesti majas 16. oktoobril 2009. Esinesid bariton Toomas Kuter, sopran Malle Raid ja dr. Benno Margus (klaver) Eestist.
Eesti teatrist pärineb üldine mõiste, vaatamata publiku hulgale saalis – “The show must go on”. Nii juhtus ka teiseltpoolt maakera saabunud muusikutega Eestist, vaatamata, et meil juba ammu pole siin soolokontserti olnud. Kuid muusikud olid õnnelikud ka neile osaks saanud veerand saalitäie üksmeelse aplausi üle, sest kava oli vahelduvalt rikkalik ja ettekanne õnnestunud.
Toomas Kuter esines juba teistkordselt New Yorgis ja kuulajate meeleheaks oli ta mitmeti rikastunud, nii tehniliselt kui tõlgitsuslikult.

Parimad numbrid olid hingestatud avalaul Minu isamajakene, Wolframi romanss ooperist Tannhäuser, Rota laul filmist Ristiisa ja tema oma luulele komponeeritud 3 laulu. Kõrgpunktiks osutusid duettide seaded: Edelweiss muusikalist Helisev muusika, Hanna ja Danilo duett Lõbusast lesest, jm Vahelugemised olid asjata, sega-des muusikalist meeleolou.
Malle Raid, dramaatiline sopran ja praegune vokaalpedagoog Pärnu Kunstide Majast, kes on koolituse saanud Otsa Muusikakoolist ja meistrikursustelt Soomes, oli üllatuseks oma ooperikaliibriga nii soolodes kui duettides. Lemmikvalimikuna pakkus ta lisaks muule Mere ja Lüdigi laule.
Eriliseks üllatuseks osutus kahe elukutse praktiseerija dr. Benno Margus klaveril, kes on arst Tallinna Keskhaiglas, kuid valdab ka klaverit tähelepanu köitva tehnika ja tundlikkusega. Kava kõrgpunktina helises päris teatraalse lavalikkusega Lehary alati populaarne “Lõbus lesk”, millele järgnes Eesti Helikunsti Keskuse poolt võõrustatud lõuna Eesti Maja einelauas.

Pärast 10-päevast peatust Kurmani residentsis ja linna vaatamisväärsuste külastamist, asusid muusikud kaugele koduteele.
