14. aprillil kell 5 on New Yorgi Eesti Majas taas võimalus kuulata head eesti muusikat, mida esitavad Heiki Palm (tšello) ja Anne-Mai Palm (klaver). Kavas soleerib ka abielupaari poeg Johannes Palm viiulil.

Heiki ja Anne-Mai Palm on enamuse oma muusikaharidusest saanud USAs  – The University of Akron ja The University of Alabama, viimases lõpetab Heiki Palm doktorikraadi (Doctor of Musical Arts).  Ülikoolis õppides esinesid nad paljudes siinsetes eesti kogukondades: Clevelandis, Baltimore'is, South-Carolina's ja New Yorgis. Peale kolme aastat Eestis  elavad Palmid Alabamas taas 2011. a. sügisest.

New Yorgi Eesti Kultuuripäevade jaoks on Palmid kokku pannud huvitava kava eesti heliloojatelt. Kava algab Lydia Koidula / eesti rahvaviisiga “Meil aiaääne tänavas”, mille on seadnud Anne-Mai Palm ja esitab Johannes Palm viiulil. Sellele järgneb Arvo Pärdi  “Fratres“ tšellole ja klaverile  ning Heino Ellerilt “Poeem” ja “Vana Tants”. Noorelt eesti heliloojalt Manus Olesk’ilt “Muljeid Atsist” ning kava lõpetab Kaljo Raidi 3 Pala Tšellole ja Klaverile.

Lisaks esitavad muusikud parimast 19. saj. klaverimuusika repertuaarist F. Liszt “Meffisto Valss” no.1 ja romantilise kammermuusika repertuaarist R. Schumann’i Fantaasia palad op. 73.
