Estonian composer, Liisa Hirsch, received the European Composer Award 2016 on September 1, in Berlin, for her piece “Mechanics of Flying” that had its World Premiere a day earlier, on August 31, with the Orchestra of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.
