Eesti Rahvuskultuuri Fondi tegevusest

Juba 18 aastat on Eestis tegutsenud Eesti Rahvuskultuuri Fond, mille eesmärk on perioodiliselt jagada stipendiume õpinguteks ja täiendõppeks ning anda toetusi mitmesugustele kultuuriprojektidele. ERKF esimees on dirigent Eri Klas, tegevdirektor Toivo Toomemets. ERKF aluseks on tema poolt hallatud allfondid, mille arv on tänaseks kasvanud 133-le. Need on loodud paljude firmade, gruppide ja üksikisikute poolt, viimaste hulgas ka rida välis-eestlasi. Lisaks annab ERKF igal aastal eriliselt teenekaile tegelastele nn. elutöö tänuauhinnad koos 50 000 krooni suuruse stipendiumiga. Terve tegevusaja jooksul on toetusteks jagatud üle 56 miljoni krooni.

Eelmise aasta 8. novembril toimus sihtasutuse nõukogu järjekordne koosolek, et määrata stipendiumite/toetuste saajad 2010. aastaks. Sel korral olid laekunud 549 taotlust, millest rahuldati 228, kogusummas 2.11 miljonit krooni. Antud summa tuli kokku 116 allfondist. Olen varasemates artiklites kirjeldanud, kuivõrd mitmekesised on allfondide sihiseaded. Nii näiteks osalesid sel korral esimest korda järgmised allfondid:
Ants Seileri fond:   toetada autospordi konstruktsiooniala üliõpilasi ja noori insenere;
Camilla ja Leo Kuuse fond:   toetada Eesti Rahva Muuseumi tegevust ja uurimistööd Eesti kultuuri ja rahvakultuuri valdkonnas;
Harry Kingissepa fond:   toetada edasiõppivaid Saaremaa Ühisgümnaasiumi lõpetajaid;
Ilmar Kullami fond:   toetada noortega töötavaid korvpallitreenereid;
Kadrioru fond:   toetada Kadrioru lossi ja pargi arengut;
Lilian Semperi fond:   toetada noori pianiste;
Salme ja Aleksander Mathieseni fond:   toetada magistri- ja doktoriõppe üliõpilasi arstiteaduse ning inseneri- ja täppisteaduste valdkondades;
Salva Kindlustuse fond:   toetada noorte muusikute osalemist konkurssidel;
Susan ja August Mölderi fond:   toetada kunstnikke ja tõlkijaid.
Seekordsed elutöö tänuauhinnad määrati kolmele:   koorijuht ja pedagoog Kuno Areng, ajaloolane Raimo Pullat ja kirjanik Mats Traat.
Lähemaid andmeid ERKF kohta (üldine tutvustus, allfondi avamine, aruanded jne.) saab nende koduleheküljelt  www.erkf.ee
